Mr. Henry Mo became CEO and Executive Director of Hjen & Co, Singapore in December 2022. Previously, he served as Non-Executive Director since 2018.
In September 2023, Henry assumed the role of CEO and Executive Director of Hjen & Co, Hong Kong SAR.
Henry has more than a decade of experience that spans across Financial Investments, Wealth & Asset Management, Estate Planning, establishment of Family Offices and Trust related works.
Since 2019, he has been a member (Singapore Branch - https://www.step.org.sg), which is a global professional body, comprising of lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their future. He has also attained full Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) status.
Henry is also an Associate (ASA) member of CPA Australia.
Henry is qualified as a specialist in inheritance and succession planning, drafting of wills and the managing of trusts, administering of estates (living or deceased), act as trustees and advise corporates and families on how best to structure their finances to ensure the adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance and the preservation and growth of their assets for future generations.
At Hjen & Co, Henry is not only responsible for the development and growth of the company, together with his team, they are persistent advocates of best practice wealth (private and corporate) structuring and oversees the implementation of wealth solutions across multi-jurisdictions and works with all business segments to facilitate the clients’ needs. In addition, he is also responsible for the growth and development of the company and every staff member.
In September 2023, under his management, our Hong Kong office was established. This is an exciting development and a significant step forward in our group's growth and expansion efforts. Expanding into Hong Kong SAR is a strategic move that allows Hjen & Co to better serve our clients in both China and Hong Kong SAR, tapping into new markets and opportunities in the region. Hong Kong SAR is a key international business hub known for its strong economy, connectivity, and business-friendly environment, making it an ideal location for expanding our operations in the region and the broader business community.
Henry started his career on the trading floor in BNP Paribas Bank before entering OCBC Bank, Singapore, in 2011. As a Relationship Manager at OCBC Bank, he is well versed in retail banking sales and is responsible for managing portfolios of high-net-worth individuals in excess of SGD 200 million, providing personalized financial advice and solutions to meet their various needs. While with OCBC Bank, he had developed and executed comprehensive investment plans (for active and retirement clients) covering Asia and the Eastern Chinese market. He is also responsible for client engagements and revenue growth, while catering to the demands for a range of banking and investment products, including loans, deposits, wealth management, and insurance.
Prior to assuming his role as CEO of Hjen & Co, Henry was with Padang Trust Singapore for a period close to 7 years and is responsible for the administration, managing trust and estate accounts for high-net-worth individuals, families, and organizations in excess of USD 1 billion. He works closely with global clients and service providers to understand and materialize their unique financial goals and objectives (such as estate planning, asset protection, special needs planning and wealth preservation/growth) through the various trust structures and private trust companies.
Henry is a vivid golfer and food enthusiast.
